The "SME Digital Center for Rural Regions" is one of over 100 centers for the transfer of new technologies and digital applications for digitalization and inter-company networking in the economy. The network is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

This transfer project supports companies in addressing the challenges of digitalization. A particular focus is on the rural region of South Westphalia, characterized by its mobility, infrastructure, demographics, and geography. Through the pillars of informing, demonstrating, implementing and training, the project facilitates access to artificial intelligence (AI), human-robot collaboration (HRC), assistance systems, and hybrid value creation.
