HyKoSy

HYKOSY is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space as part of the "Future of Value Creation – Research on Production, Services and Work" program and by the European Social Fund Plus of the European Union (ESF Plus), and is managed by the Karlsruhe Project Management Agency (PTKA) (funding reference: 02L24C050). The funding amounts to approximately 2 million euros for three years (January 2026 – December 2028).

In the HyKoSy research project, hybrid, AI-supported work systems for production, sales and supplier relationships are being developed and scientifically evaluated to strengthen the resilience of companies in complex value chains.

Existing knowledge management systems assume that departing skilled workers will be replaced by new ones. The HyKoSy project enables the flexible deployment of digital assistance in AI-supported teams, even in the face of skills shortages and changing work organization.

The HyKoSy research project aims to develop and evaluate hybrid, AI-supported work systems in production, sales, and supplier relationships using eight use cases. It focuses on new job roles and increasing the acceptance of AI within the company. Based on scenario and SWOT analyses, resilience-enhancing factors are identified and incorporated into concepts for onboarding and flexible retirement transitions. For validation, disruptive scenarios are simulated to capture stability parameters and integrate them into resilience monitoring and operational key performance indicator (KPI) systems.
