The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the funding measure Development of New Digital Services for Data-Oriented Value Creation (DigiLeistDAT) in the BMBF's ‘Future of Value Creation’ programme and is supervised by the Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA).
How can we support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in offering AI-as-a-service-based services as part of their business models?
This is the research focus of project ‘Do AI Yourself’– D-AI-Y for short.
Within the project, various business model patterns and implementation concepts for AI-as-a-service offerings will be developed. In doing so, not only technical aspechts, but also organisational and personnel requirements will be considered. This is to ensure that the models developed are optimally tailored to the needs of SMEs. The developed business model patterns and implementation concepts will be tested and evaluated in pilot projects. The project results will be made available to interested SMEs in the form of workshops, guidelines and an online portal.
